Petition for Extended ART Service Hours
Better Buses Together campaign members know that transit isn’t just important to low income people who need access to economic mobility. Transit supports local business, relieves parking issues, makes for lighter traffic, and gets people to work, to school and everywhere else they need to go with a lower environmental impact.

In order to build a system that works for more people we need the bus to run more often, more reliably and more hours in the day and night. We’re hopeful about the changes coming in January as part of the implementation of the transit master plan that are intended to address on time performance and frequency; however, City Council DID NOT allocate funding for extended evening bus hours.

Signing this petition tells Asheville City Council that transit can't wait. We are asking that they amend the budget to provide extended evening bus hours.

#20for20 means 20 days to build a broader base of transit support in 2020.
