Glass House History

Kyle Kazan and Graham Farrar form first investment fund, the foundation of what is now known as Glass House Brands.

Glass House’s first farm, called “Casitas,” begins its conversion to cannabis cultivation

Glass House Farms operates under California’s Proposition 215 and focuses on perfecting its cultivation methods to produce top-quality cannabis efficiently at scale.

In November, CA voters approve Proposition 64, revolutionizing CA’s state framework for growing, possessing and transporting marijuana and setting up an Adult Use market scheduled to open in January 2018.

California Secretary of State issues Articles of Organization for Magu Farm.

Bud & Bloom, a Medical dispensary soon to become part of Glass House Brands, opens in Santa Ana, Orange County.

Prop 64 takes effect in CA.

Bud & Bloom transitions to new framework, serving both Medical and Adult Use customers.

First Glass House Farms-branded products brought to market; first 1/8th-ounce jar sold to Sespe Creek.

Glass House plants its first 5 acres of hemp on virgin soil at Cadiz Ranch in San Bernardino as part of an experimental commercial hemp partnership.

The Farmacy Santa Barbara opens its doors to the public, becoming the city’s first Adult Use cannabis dispensary.

Glass House Brands’ ~22,000 sq. ft. cannabis manufacturing and processing facility commences operations.

Padaro,” Glass House Farms’ second cultivation site, completes its first full-capacity harvest utilizing all 355,000 sq. ft., more than doubling previous cultivation output.
